Whether it is historical, contemporary, or fantasy, there is nothing I love better than a book that pulls me in and won’t let me go. Sometimes that’s because of a story’s unique premise, a fantastic voice, or beautiful writing. It’s always because the author gives me a reason to care about the characters.
